I've read the summary about a dozen times and I still can't figure out what the hell the book is supposed to be about.
IT HAS BEEN FORETOLD

I feel like bakers are trying to tell us something, you guys.
I'm just not sure WHAT.
Speak to me, Deadpan Penguin! *What is it?* What's wrong?

Reading that gives me a headache. It must be in code or something.
That has to be it. Your blog is cool, btw :) I went to Catholic school, and while I'm not an atheist (as my name may suggest), i spent a lot of time looking at the Bible wondering if i was really supposed to believe in talking donkeys. either way, the old testament was a good read. (I have nothing against Christianity, just...I don't think the book should be taken literally.)
Thank you! I feel the same way. I don't really care if someone believes in a god or not, but whatever you believe, you gotta admit the Bible is insane.
The old testament is pretty wacky. If people get offended I concede that it could just be a mess of translation and interpretation (which it could be), but most people concede that they get why I don't really buy it.
There are a lot of things that do seem to be genuinely lost in translation, though. The camel through an eye of a needle thing, for example, is thought to reference a thick type of thread rather than an actual camel, but that's not how it's usually quoted.
Added you to my blog list, if you don't mind :) I have approximately two readers, so I won't be helping your readership much, but still ;)
Haha, I don't mind at all, thank you! If I had a blog list, I'd add you to it. My other blog is http://shannonsweetvalley.com, and I did add you to my Links page there!
And a sweet valley blog! awesome! *will have to remember to link for that too*
